• Villa Torre a Soli

The historical Villa Torre a Soli rises in the medieval village of Galliano, not far from Florence, in a position that allows you to admire the landscape of the hills of Mugello. The Villa, still under renovation, has a garden, a park and a swimming pool with a panoramic view. The dwelling has expanded throughout the centuries. A central building, from the XIII century, and Torre Nord, former house of the caretaker, were added to a Medieval Tower, which dates back to the XI century. The basement, wide and stunning, is beneath almost the whole building. The Villa can be easily divided in three detached dwellings, each one with at least four bedrooms. The whole property is fenced and it is provided with an internal parking and a gravel pathway.

Villa Torre a Soli, ingresso (piano terra)

The ground floor features a spacious entrance with coffered ceilings. The walls are decorated and one of them is made of stonework. A wide hallway leads to two large rooms, both with decorated walls, coffered ceilings and an original parquet from the beginning of the XX century. A room of fifty square meters has walls fully decorated in the early XX century by Leto Chini, a well-known local artist. The wide kitchen has a huge fireplace, perfect for barbecues. In the Medieval Tower there is a dining room with vaulted ceiling. On the first floor we have the bedrooms, all of them with a private bathroom. On the second floor there is an additional bedroom with private bathroom, while on the third floor there is a habitable attic.

Torre Nord, camera con bagno privato (1° piano)
The caretaker house, called Torre Nord nowadays, has three floors. On the ground floor there is a kitchen and a dining room with a fireplace. On the first floor there is a wide master bedroom with a spacious private bathroom, provided with two sinks, a bathtub and a shower. On the second floor there are three additional bedrooms. The third and last floor is designated as a library. The ceiling has exposed beams and the floors are made by parquet or cotto tiles.

In the park stands out a centuries-old Lebanese Cedar and various fruit trees. In the garden, with green lawn and flowers, there is an arbor, on which a secular yellow rose climb. The tables for relaxing outside are arranged under the arbor. The panoramic pool has a pietra serena stone edge and a tiled area with decked chairs. The entire swimming pool is a raised structure bordered by hedges and an ancient cast-iron railing.
